FOUR fire engines were used to fight flames at a shed after straw bales caught fire.
Crews were called to a large fire on Nantwich Road in Winsford shortly after 11.30am.
Fiefighters found the shed well ablaze.
Crews, wearing breathing apparatus, used three hose reels to fight the flames and then stag drags to turnover the straw.
A spokesman for Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters then continued to damp down and remove straw from the building.
"All animals were moved to a place of safety."
