THE lovely weather we have been having looks set to stay over the weekend.
And it's been a long time coming.
According to the Met Office, May saw rainfall well above the long-term average.
The UK saw its fourth highest amount of rainfall on record for the month, with an average of 120mm falling – the wettest since 1967.
Luckily, June has been a different story so far, and to help you plan your weekend activities, here is what the weather has in store for Cheshire (at the time of writing):

- 1pm: 20 degrees
- 4pm: 21 degrees
- 7pm: 19 degrees
- 10pm: 16 degrees
- Lows of 13 degrees overnight
Sunday, June 6: Sunny, plus periods of cloud and sun throughout the day
- 7am: 14 degrees
- 10am: 16 degrees
- 1pm: 18 degrees
- 4pm: 19 degrees
- 7pm: 18 degrees
- 10pm: 14 degrees
- Lows of 12 degrees overnight
