THE RSPCA is running a nationwide home pet show to put the spotlight on much-loved pets – from the feathery and scaly, to the fluffy and slimy.
Regional winners will be chosen on June 14, and 12 finalists will be chosen to take place in the live Zoom Home Pet Show on June 19.
The live final will be hosted by RSPCA CEO Chris Sherwood and a special celebrity guest.
An RSPCA spokesperson said: "We would love to hear all about your animal, your relationship with them, their history and your journey together, so do take the time to tell us about yourself and your wonderful animal.
"The RSPCA Home Pet Show doesn’t focus on looks or breeding, we prefer to see happy contented animals, their natural behaviours and most importantly, the special bond they have with each other and their human companions."
Classes of entry include:
- Best baby
- Best rescue
- Best trick
- Golden oldie
- Peas in a pod
- Best lockdown buddy
- Animal artwork, for ages 0-10, 11-16 and 16 plus
