FOLLOWING Thursday's day of voting, the results are now in for the by-election in Middlewich.
Two seats on Middlewich Town Council, representing the Cledford wards, were up for grabs.
Here are the results:
Labour's David Williams and the Liberal Democrats Peter Hirst were both elected to the town council.
Mr Williams secured 902 votes, while Mr Hirst received 536 votes.
The third candidate standing in the by-election was independent David Condliffe.
He received 497 votes.
