CRUSADING people who have changed the world have been hailed heroes by Winsford schoolchildren.
Pupils at St Chad's CE Primary School have been inspired by selfless individuals who made sacrifices for others.
Deputy headteacher Catherine Speed said: "We have a vision for all children to have a future with hope. We spent a day learning about people who serve the community and have been courageous advocates for change.

"We all thought about Prince Philip and the work he has done to improve the lives of young people and for the environment.
"Classes learnt about other people whose actions have changed the world. These included Jane Goodall, Emmeline Pankhurst, David Attenborough and Captain Tom Moore. "The children learnt how people can use their skills and talents to help others and that anyone can make a difference."
The project taught children how to face challenges with resilience.
