CHESHIRE East residents go to the polls on May 6.
Three candidates are looking for your votes in the Cledford by-election.
Independent candidate David Condliffe wants to become a voice for residents.
Middlewich born David, who has lived in the town for 29 years, said: "Residents need councillors who can put forward an alternative view because, far too often, the only voice residents have is their 15 minutes once a month at the Town Council meeting.
"I have no political affiliation whatsoever and have never been a member of any political party.
"I believe that this town needs politically independent councillors who are free from political influence who can ensure that residents have a voice that makes itself heard."

Lack of public transport links prompted David to seek election.
"I knew that Bellway had provided funding for a bus stop sited on Booth Lane. The safety of our residents needs someone to champion it because it is clear that allowing children to wait for a bus on one of the busiest roads in Middlewich with its associated air pollution isn't very responsible.
"I want to become a voice for residents and ensure that their questions and concerns are given the platform that they need."
