FOUR men have been arrested on suspicion of murder after a car was stopped in Middlewich.
Staffordshire Police officers pulled over the vehicle as part of their investigation into a stabbing in Stoke-on-Trent this morning.
Earlier today, at around 6.30am, officers were called to an address in Birchfield Road, Abbey Hulton, after reports a man was suffering a facial wound following an attack in nearby Hulton Abbey park.
The victim’s injuries are not life-threatening, but he was taken to hospital for treatment.
Three Stoke-on-Trent men, aged 23, 39 and 40, and a 40-year-old man from Leeds were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.
A woman in her 50s, from Stoke-on-Trent, has also been arrested in connection with the incident.
