POLICE are investigating the third deliberate fire in Winsford in six days.
Firefighters used a water back pack to extinguish a small fire on Glebe Green Drive shortly after 7.30pm last night.
Crews say it had been started deliberately. It comes just a day after a children's play area in Longmynd Rise was torched in an arson attack.

Rubber matting was set on fire at 6.30pm on Monday.
Firefighters tackled a fire in the open off Swanlow Lane at around 9pm on the same evening.
On arrival the crews found a quantity of tree stumps and rubber matting well alight on a field.
Two hose reel jets were used to put out the flames.
Firefighters were at the scene for more than two hours.
The Old Star pub in Swanlow Lane was torched in an arson attack at 5.10am on Friday.

One man was treated at the scene for smoke inhalation but did not go to hospital.
