A NEW friendship bench has arrived to give people somewhere to sit, relax and take a moment to themselves.
The Friends of Winsford Town Park funded it for visitors to enjoy.

A new noticeboard has also been installed at the Dingle Lane entrance, funded by Winsford Town Council.

It has an information panel created by the friends, together with a space for the council to display posters highlighting events.

The friends have resumed weekly activity sessions in the park, led by garden designer Joanne Fawcett.
John Malam, chairman of the friends, said: "A small group of volunteers began to clear away last year’s die-back of perennials from around the Salt Stacks, getting the ground ready for new growth which is now starting to show."
