CREATIVE children were challenged to design a T-shirt with a meaningful message.
Pupils at Wharton CE Primary School expressed their emotions in pictures and words using colourful paints.
Youngsters came up with lots of positive messages including 'Never give up', 'Always believe in yourself' and 'Be happy'.

The competition was linked to children's mental health week.

Headteacher Natalie Tomlinson said: "The children came up with some fabulous designs. We were so impressed with the entries that we decided to have a winner from every year group from reception up to year 6."
The best designs were selected by wellbeing workers in school.

The winners Ezra Greatbanks, Olivia Burton, Isabella Read, Nyla Benson, Charlie Jones, Harry Yates and Toby Harries had their own designs printed onto a T-shirt, kindly donated by Mark Bartram from Bartex Designs.
