Picture tweeted from Northwich Police shows emergency services at the scene this evening.
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a chimney fire at a house in London Road, Winsford.
Flames were coming out of the chimney pot and smoking was spreading in the house.
Crews used the aerial ladder platform to help them tackle the fire from the outside.
Fire crews attended from Winsford, Northwich, Sandbach, Lymm and Crewe attended.

They used a thermal imaging camera to check the temperature of the affected walls while they continued to extinguish and damp down.
London Road was closed to motorists, from Brick Kiln Lane to the roundabout leading into Davenham. while the fire was extinguished.
