A DEEP fat fryer caught fire after being accidentally left on a cooking hob.
Firefighters were called to a flat at Bembridge Court in Middlewich shortly after 6pm last night.
The fire was out when crews arrived.
Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera to monitor the temperature of the fryer before removing it from the flat.
Crews also ventilated the property which was heavily smoke logged.
Firefighters were at the scene for around just over an hour.
