PLANS have been submitted to build a detached house on St George’s Road, Winsford.
The proposals show that Mr M Gibson is seeking permission to construct a three-bedroom home in a ‘side garden’ adjacent to a property on the street.
The plot, towards the Swanlow Lane end of the street, is 240 square metres in total.
Should the permission be granted, it shows that the new property would be for market housing.
According to property listing site RightMove, three-bedroom houses on St Georges Road typically sell for between £150,000 and £180,000.
The application is for outline planning permission — meaning the applicant is seeking to gauge if the scale and nature of the proposed development would be acceptable to Cheshire West and Chester Council, before submitting a fully detailed proposal.
Residents can comment on the application until March 2, with Winsford Town Council also having the opportunity to advance their views.
You can view the plans on Cheshire West and Chester Council’s planning portal using reference ‘21/00245/OUT’.
