A 90-YEAR-OLD man was left trapped when branches landed on him in Winsford this morning, January 21.
The pensioner became trapped while on his scooter in St Georges Road.
One fire engine from Winsford was sent out to the scene at 10.09am, where the crew used cutting equipment to safely remove the pensioner.
The man is not believed to have sustained any injuries and did not require the ambulance service.
Firefighters have been busy over the past 24 hours while Cheshire has been hit by Storm Christoph.
A crew was sent out to Rosewood Drive at 7.15am today where the was flooding outside of a house.
They put a temporary polyboom flood barrier in place outside the property to prevent water from entering.
Across the county, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service attended 134 incidents between 7am yesterday and the same time today, mostly due to Storm Christoph.
