A WINTER wonderland has been created outside a care home, thanks to kind-hearted Winsford residents.
Overdene Care Home appealed for donations to turn the patio and space outside the John Street home into a magical garden.

Home manager Cath Burns said: "We have been stopped from putting up lots of decorations inside due to Covid so I asked for decorations on social media and were were inundated.
"It made me cry at one stage because everyone was so generous. We have received trees, decorations, ornaments and even lots of outdoor lights.

"It's been such a dull year, we wanted to do something really special for our residents. We've made a winter wonderland which everyone loves.
"We wouldn't have been able to do all this without all these lovely donations. I want to thank the local community for all their support.
