CASES of coronavirus in Cheshire East and West are falling slowly, new figures have confirmed.
The latest statistics from Public Health England covering the 24-hour period up to 9am today, Wednesday, December 2, reveal there have been 122 new cases in the two boroughs.
Cheshire East, including Knutsford and Middlewich, saw 81 new cases, 11 fewer than the day before.
That takes the borough's total number of cases to 9,115 since the pandemic began.
In Cheshire West, including Northwich and Winsford, 41 people were diagnosed with Covid-19, 17 less than the previous day.
The total number of cases confirmed so far in Cheshire West now stands at 9,039.
