YOUNG musicians are learning how to play the drums.
Year 5 pupils at the Grange Community Nursery and Primary School are thoroughly enjoying their percussion lessons.
Children have the opportunity to learn a variety of percussion instruments, including snare drums and djembes, from an expert teacher over the next year.

Pupils are enjoying developing their musical skills as they accompany a range of popular songs.
As they progress, the youngsters will demonstrate their new talents at a virtual performance to parents and friends.

Sara Albiston, head of school, said: “We are delighted to provide this opportunity for our children. As part of Weaver Trust, we do all that we can to offer opportunities that inspire each individual child so they can achieve the very best outcomes.
"Year 5 have made us very proud with the progression that they have made in such a short time. They really do sound fantastic.”
