A CHIMNEY caught fire at a house in Middlewich.
Firefighters were called to a property in St Ann's Road shortly before 5.30pm last night.
Embers were removed before crews used chimney rods to attack the fire.
The roof was checked using the thermal imaging camera.

A ladder was used to gain access to the roof and the fire was tackled using a hose reel.
Once the fire was extinguished crews monitored the heat levels.
The fire was fully extinguished at around 9pm.
