ROAD closures and diversions are set to cause delays for drivers from Winsford and Middlewich during the next two weeks.

Here's a round-up of roadworks which may disrupt traffic.

A5018 Bostock Road, Winsford

This road closure near the entrance to Road One in Bostock Road is likely to remain closed until December 7. Cadent gas engineers are moving a gas main and carrying out repairs.

Shepherds Fold Drive, Winsford

This road will be closed until Wednesday, November 25, whilst United Utilities carry out work.

Whitegate Road, Winsford

This road will be closed from Friday, November 27 until Tuesday, December 1 for tree cutting.

A533 Road One, Winsford

Long-running work to create a new roundabout at the junction of Bostock Road and Road One is expected to continue until January 29. Temporary traffic lights are in place.

The Drumber, Winsford

Temporary traffic lights will be in place on Sunday, November 29 as a lift is put in place to replace a chiller unit at Asda.

Grange Lane, Winsford

Two-way signals will be in operation from December 4-8 as BT engineers build a new joint box and lay cable.

Wharton Park Road, Winsford

Temporary traffic lights will control traffic on Wednesday, November 25 as United Utilities carry out jetting and CCTV work.

Wharton Road, Winsford

Delays may be caused outside the old Ford site as trial holes are excavated from November 25-27. Temporary signals will be in place.

Old Hall Farm, Northwich Road

Two-way signals are in operation as scaffolding is in place until December 24.

Pochin Way, Middlewich

A lane will be closed outside the Travel Lodge at night time from November 23-25 whilst BT engineers carry out excavation work.
