ROAD closures and diversions are set to delay journeys for drivers from Winsford and Middlewich during the next two weeks.

Brace yourself, here's a round-up of roadworks which may disrupt traffic.

A5018 Bostock Road, Winsford

This road closure near the entrance to Road One in Bostock Road is likely to remain closed until December 7.

Cadent gas engineers are moving a gas main and carrying out repairs.

Shepherds Road, Winsford

This road will be closed until November 25 whilst United Utilities replace a manhole frame and cover in the road.

A54 High Street, Winsford

Diversions will be in place whilst this road is closed on November 17 and 18 for resurfacing.

A 533 and Road One, Winsford

The long-running work to create a new roundabout at the junction with Road One near Bostock Road, continue with temporary traffic lights in place.

Chester Road, Wisnford

Delays are expected as work to create a new junction and widen the road opposite Marton VW Farm take place until November 27.

Delamere Street, Winsford

Temporary traffic lights will be in place until November 18 as United Utilities repair a leaking valve in the road near the junction of Woodford Close.

Abbots Way and Saxon Crossway, Winsford

BT engineers will be laying new cables until November 20.

Falcon Close, Winsford

Multi way traffic signals will be in place from November 26-30 as BT engineers carry out work between Chaffinch Way and Falcon Close.

Middlewich Road, Winsford

BT engineers will be carrying out maintenance from November 23-25. Excavation work will be undertaken by SP Energy Works near the junction of Beckett Avenue from November 26 to December 1.

Chartley Grove and Devon Close, Middlewich

BT engineers will be excavating from November 19-23.

Pochin Way, Middlewich

A lane will be closed outside the Travel Lodge during the night from November 23-25 as BT engineers carry out excavation work.
