A LOVE of reading is being nurtured at Middlewich High School.
Year 7 student librarians were excited to get a first look at the Bookbuzz titles.
Bookbuzz is a reading programme from BookTrust that aims to help schools inspire a love of reading in 11 to 13-year-olds.
Middlewich High School gives their students the opportunity to choose their own book to take home and keep from a list of 17 titles.
All year 7 pupils at Middlewich High School will receive a book to take home to inspire a love of reading
Pupils will receive their own copies in the next few weeks.
The books are all carefully selected by a panel of experts to ensure quality, suitability and to encourage reading for pleasure.

Year 10 and 11 students are invited to take part in a virtual GCSE study skills event today.
A series of podcasts have been prepared for pupils, their parents and carers to help students to prepare for their exams.
The sessions cover how to revise, exam regulations, wellbeing and specific subject support.
The revision skills evening starts at 6pm and all the resources will be made available on the school's website and social media.
