SPOOKY scarecrows have been creeping into Middlewich.
Children and grown ups are challenged to let their imaginations run wild in a fun-filled competition.
A new MiddleWITCH Fest has been launched by Middlewich Round Table to decorate the town with homemade Halloween style scarecrows.
Josh Hicks, from Middlewich Round Table, said: "This new community event is designed to get everyone involved in a fun yet safe way. We've had 40 entries so far, with some fantastic ones coming in.
"It is entirely free to enter though we are asking people to make donations to their local school parent teacher associations who have not been able to raise funds at their usual summer fetes and events this year."

Creative youngsters can use anything at home, including clothes and various bits and pieces to build your own character.
Name your creation and capture a picture of its best pose.
All entries will be judged on style, build quality and name.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three scoring scarecrows.
An interactive map has been created to encourage people to visit the scarecrows and take a selfie to post on Middlewich Round Table Facebook.
Entries must be submitted by October 29 to forms.gle/9SjzyEP36nnqUP3S9
Winners will be announced in time to celebrate Halloween on October 31.
