A BARGAIN shop has opened to raise funds for St Luke's

The hospice shop in Winsford Cross Shopping Centre has been given a new look and all goods are just £2 each.

The store has been rebranded as a clearance store selling a wide variety of women’s, men’s and children’s clothing along with books, toys and games at bargain prices.

Retail sales manager Mike Weaver said: “We’ve had great support from the local community since we reopened after lockdown. People come in for one item and often walk out with four or five. Our stock is changing all the time so please pop in and take a look.”

The shop has implemented health and safety protocols in line with government guidelines and is limiting the number of customers allowed in at one time.

The hospice is also reopening its furniture and fashion shop in Delamere Street on Wednesday, October 7.

The store stocks a large selection of home and living items including sofas and dining tables as well as donated clothing.
