A KEY route heading in and out of Winsford is set to be closed for six hours next week.

A stretch of the B5074 Over Road, between Darnhall and Church Minshull, will be closed in both directions from 9.30am to 3.30pm on Monday, October 5.

It is the main route linking Winsford with Nantwich.

The section affected is from Paradise Lane to the south and Ash Brook to the north.

The closure is for BT engineers to carry out a pole test.

Drivers will be diverted via the A54 through Winsford, Clive Green Lane, the A530 Nantwich Road and Brookhouse Lane into Church Minshull.
