SCHOOLS in Warrington have been given the opportunity to try coding and robotics equipment in the classroom for free.

CreativeHUT, a Warrington-based educational resource provider, is making the resources available to help boost children's skills in computing, design and technology, science and maths.

Free teacher training will also be provided covering the computing and STEAM curriculum (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics).

Educators can choose from five different resources for a trial.

Trials are provided on a sale or return basis, after which educators are free to pass the kit onto a colleague or a peer from a different school.

There will also be large discounts made available for those deciding to purchase the kit or those deciding to upgrade to full classroom sets.

Co-Founder, Paul Chisnall, said: "Over the last three years we have been inspired to see how our resources build confidence in students while providing the skills needed for future careers.

"However we also understand that selecting the right equipment presents a huge challenge for educators and feel that more schools deserve the opportunity to test resources in the classroom environment before making a commitment."
