PLANNING chiefs have given the go-ahead for a Middlewich firm to build a new industrial unit within its grounds.
Hough Construction, in Brooks Lane, has been given the green light from Cheshire East Council for the new unit on to be built on an existing builders yard.
In approving the plans, CEC officer Philippa Radia said: "The principle and design of the proposal are considered acceptable. No material impacts on amenity are anticipated.
"The proposal is in general accordance with the relevant policies of the [CEC] development plan."
The building, which will have 112sq m of floorspace, will be used for storage and office space.
Three new car parking spaces will be provided, and no hazardous material will be kept at the premises.

Work must begin within three years and CEC is requesting electrical vehicle charging infrastructure on the site.
