HOMEMADE cakes have been baked to help people with cancer.
Winsford mum Clare Vernon, who opened a new cafe, is hosting a cake sale and coffee morning today for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The mum-of-four who runs Market Munchies wants to do all she can to support this charity.
Shoppers are invited to pop in anytime today until 3.30pm and make a donation.

"I only took over the cafe a few months ago and it is going really well," said Clare, 47, of Dean Drive. "We're getting a lot of new people who have never been here before.

"A lot of people who live in Winsford don't realise we are here."
Clare's sister Julie Hodkinson runs Julie Clare Schoolwear stall nearby.
"We do a selection of homemade meals, hot and cold drinks, jacket potatoes, paninis, hotdogs and burgers," said Clare, who has two grandchildren. "We also offer a pensioner's special of cottage pie, a pudding and tea or coffee for £4.95."
The cafe is open on market days Monday, Thursday and Saturday.
