THE latest clusters of coronavirus across parts of Cheshire have been revealed in a map.

Parts of Middlewich, the Glebe Green area of Winsford, and Handforth and Dean Row are some of the areas where Covid-19 infection is more prevalent in Cheshire according to the latest data from Public Health England.

With Covid-19 cases on the rise across the country in recent weeks, this map shows the extent to which neighbourhoods around Northwich, Winsford, Middlewich, Knutsford and Wilmslow have been affected.

Using the latest data available from September 10 to 16, it highlights areas where there have been more than two cases of coronavirus during that time.

Northwich Guardian:

It is broken up into geographical areas known as 'middle super output areas', which are smaller than whole towns but bigger than council wards or individual villages.

It shows that the following areas have had more than two cases of Covid-19 from September 10 to 16:

  • Weaverham - four cases
  • Barnton - three cases
  • Northwich central and Winnington - four cases
  • Rudheath west and Leftwich - five cases
  • Comberbach, Acton Bridge and Whitley - three cases
  • Hartford and Kingsmead - three cases
  • South Knutsford and Bexton - three cases
  • Mobberley, Plumley and High Legh - four cases
  • Fulshaw Park and Lindow - three cases
  • Wilmslow town - three cases
  • Lacey Green and Wilmslow Park - three cases
  • Handforth and Dean Row - nine cases
  • Middlewich east - three cases
  • Middlewich west - five cases
  • Winsford Glebe Green - seven cases

Other areas which are not listed could have had zero cases, or just one or two.
