A TEENAGE boy missing from home has been found safe and well.

Ben Cliffe was found at The Trafford Centre at around 8pm last night, 31 hours after he disappeared.

The 16-year-old had last been seen in Kingsmead, Northwich at around 1pm on Wednesday.

His family was becoming increasingly worried as he had remained missing overnight.

His mum Zoe made a heartfelt plea to help find her son who she described as a 'vulnerable young boy'. She feared he could be lost and roaming along country roads and canals as he liked walking.

Step dad Craig Fellows said: "He was spotted by security walking round The Trafford Centre. They've got banks of CCTV and noticed him roaming round aimlessly.

"We are so relieved that no harm came to him. It was going dark so we were getting worried. Luckily he was found.

"He was extremely tired but he is safe and well. We don't know where he slept the night before. The Trafford Centre gave him something to eat and were nice and kind.

"The police picked him up, interviewed him and brought him home at midnight."

The family wants to thank everyone for their support.

"Everyone has been absolutely amazing," said Craig. "We have been bowled over by all the kind thoughts. You realise how nice people are when something like this happens.

"Everyone we have dealt with, friends, all the people on Facebook have been brilliant. We would like to say a special thank you to The Guardian for putting out an appeal.

"The relief is just amazing."
