A WINSFORD florist has returned to her roots.

Georgina Lockett has closed her shop on High Street and moved back into Winsford Market where she started her business.

The 61-year-old decided to turn over a new leaf after working at home during the pandemic.

Georgina's Incredible Blooms is now trading from a stall from 8am to 4pm on Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

"I was working from home throughout Covid," said Georgina, who opened her shop two and a half years ago. "I decided to move back into the market where I started.

"There is more passing trade and it means I can still work at home. It is a better work life balance."

“I just love flowers,” said Georgina, who spent three years establishing her business on Winsford Market.

“I find it very therapeutic."

Stallholders have welcomed her back with open arms.

"I am quite overwhelmed," said Georgina. "All the traders have said how nice it is to have me back and it's great to see another stall opened up on the market.

"The traders organise various different events. I'm really looking forward to joining in and being a part of it."
