A WINSFORD road is set to be closed for nine weeks from Monday, September 14.
The B5074 Chester Lane will be closed in both directions between the A54 Salterswall Roundabout and the junction of Whitegate Road and Chester Road.
It will be closed while Archway Homes carries out works in the area.
While there is permission for the road to be closed for up to 18 months if needed, Cheshire West and Chester Council says the work should take nine weeks.
Traffic between the A54 and Whitegate will be diverted along Delamere Street.
Meanwhile, part of Bostock Road near to Winsford Industrial Estate will be closed for four days this week.
