VOLUNTEER groups that have helped the community through the pandemic are being thanked by Asda.
Asda Foundation is awarding £300 to six groups from each superstore, including Winsford and Northwich.
The gift is part of the company's Christmas activities to thank charities for their commitment to the community throughout 2020.
Throughout September customers are invited to nominate their local charity, good cause or school they feel have gone above and beyond in making sure that no one has been on their own throughout the pandemic.

The group must have made a positive impact by reducing isolation and poverty, delivering essential items to vulnerable and providing a community lifeline.
Nomination forms are available in stores until September 30 or can be downloaded from www.asdafoundation.org.
