IT will be a memorable weekend at Debees when it celebrates its 10th birthday with stars of the past and future.

The Specials and Fun Boy Three frontman Neville Staples will help The music bar mark a decade since it opened.

He will play classics including Gangsters, A Message To You, Rudi and Too Much Too Young before resident DJs Nick and Hoppo get on the decks.

Debees will also be looking to the future when Exile Parade play the venue on Sunday.

The band are currently recording their debut album with legendary producer Owen Morris and the gig is a chance to see them before it is released next March.

Morris, who has produced classic albums by Oasis, The Verve, New Order and more recently The View, is tipping the Warrington band for success.

He said: "It's the best rock and roll I have had the honour and pleasure of being involved with since Oasis.

"It's stunning, evil music."

Exile Parade will be supported by American band Year Long Disaster who are fronted by Daniel Davies, son of Dave Davies from The Kinks.
