THERE have been no coronavirus deaths recorded at Wirral hospitals in almost a month.
The news, confirmed by NHS England this afternoon, means the total number of patients who have died after testing positive for the virus at Wirral University Teaching Hospital remains at 238.
Nationally, a further 13 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 29,371.
Patients were aged between 52 and 92 years old. All had known underlying health conditions.
Their families have been informed.
