A NETWORK of churches across Warrington have created their own music video as a message of hope for the town.

Paul Johnson, who is part of the leadership team at King's Church, has helped co-ordinate 'The Warrington Blessing', a virtual choir project.

"It is a choir of 52 church members from 18 different churches from the town," Paul explained.

"Videos and tracks were produced at home, often with the use of a mobile phone, and sent in to us.

"We have produced the track and video.

"The message is clear: the churches of Warrington want our town to hear that we believe God loves Warrington and the Churches of Warrington do too.

"It is a real song and message of hope for our town."

Paul's wife Rachel produced the track, with Holly McCellan producing the video and Tim Walker assisting with production.

Paul was taken aback at the positive response to The Warrington Blessing.

He said: "The piece has been viewed and shared many thousands of times across various social media platforms.

"Warrington Council decided to share the video with their staff, as an encouragement that there are many people who love our town and who are praying for our town right now.

"We have heard from people around the country who have been impacted by the video and who have decided to connect with their local churches, as a result of hearing the song and seeing the film.

"What has been incredibly encouraging has been the way that so many churches truly feel like one family and want send a message of hope to our town with one voice."
