TESCO Café has launched a new, unbeatable value offer across its food and drink menu.

Inspired by the Government-led “Eat Out to Help Out” scheme, Tesco Café is offering 50 per cent off its full menu with no limits on the discount, for dine in and takeaway, Monday-Wednesday throughout August.

The Café will not be taking any reimbursement from the Government Scheme, instead they will be funding the full promotion themselves.

Unbeatable value dishes on offer include a full English breakfast which includes a British pork sausage, bacon rasher, free range fried egg, two hash browns, roasted tomato, baked beans and toast, for £2.07, and classic fish and chips, served with garden or mushy peas and tartar sauce at £2.85.

Tesco Café offers all dishes cooked to order. The breakfast menu is available all day, and from 11.30am onwards, the café serves an array of tasty family favourites starting from just £1.85, compared to Wetherspoons starting price of £2.37.

There is also a cooked children’s meal deal available for just £1.42 including a main, side and drink.

Bradford Telegraph and Argus:

Options include sausages with carrot and swede mash and Omega-3 fish fingers with chips, with sides including peas, garlic bread and crunchy veg sticks.

If customers just fancy popping in for a treat, there are some fantastic value deals on fresh cakes and drinks, including a slice of Victoria Sponge and a Latte for £2.37 – this would usually cost £6.20 in Costa Coffee and £6.70 in Starbucks.

Tesco’s café offers a full range of premium barista coffee, using UK roasted beans and including Lattes, Espressos and Mochas, with prices starting from just 75p.

All of the coffees on offer are Rainforest Alliance Certified and can be tailored to individual tastes using soya or almond at no extra charge, or by adding a flavoured syrup.

Other great value food deals include:

  • Avocado on toast: chopped avocado with fresh tomato, chilli flakes & a squeeze of lime served on a slice of multiseed toast: the millennial favourite for just £1.42
  • Vegan Breakfast: Two vegan sausages, avocado, baked beans, flat mushroom, wilted spinach, roasted tomato & multiseed toast with vegan spread: £2.60

Adam Martin, Tesco Café managing director, said: “We know that the past few months have been tough for lots of people in our local communities.

“We believe everyone deserves freshly cooked, top quality, great value meals, and a break from cooking at home.

“We look forward to welcoming old friends and new faces back to the Café – we can’t wait to serve you again.”

Tesco Café has implemented additional safety measures so customers can be confident that they are enjoying their food in a clean and safe environment.
