No new coronavirus deaths have been recorded in Wirral hospitals over the past three days, NHS England has confirmed.
It means that there have been no recorded Covid-19 fatalities in Wirral University Teaching Hospital for the past 20 days.
The total number of people who have died with the virus in the care of the trust remains at 238.
A further 10 people, who tested positive for the Coronavirus (Covid-19) have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 29,291.
Patients were aged between 48 and 93 years old. All had known underlying health conditions. Their families have been informed.
Half of the deaths recorded today occurred in the North West.
