COASTGUARD and lifeboat crews rushed to Durdle Door after a group of swimmers got into difficulty.
Emergency services received multiple 999 calls shortly before 12pm on Sunday, July 26, reporting the incident in the water at Durdle Door and Stair Hole.
Coastguard teams from Kimmeridge, Lulworth and Wyke, as well as lifeboats from Wemouth, attended the scene.
However, the swimmers managed to self-rescue at various points along the coast and everyone in the group of 15 was accounted for.
A HM Coatguard spokeswoman said: "HM Coastguard received multiple 999 calls just before midday reporting several swimmers in difficulty at Durdle Door and Stair Hole, Dorset.
"Kimmeridge, Lulworth and Wyke Coastguard rescue teams were sent along with two Weymouth RNLI lifeboats.
"The swimmers were part of a group of 15 that had set off from Stair Hole, during the swim some of the party had got into difficulties.
"All 15 swimmers have been accounted for after they self-rescued at various points along the coast."
