No increase in Wirral coronavirus deaths say NHS England
NO further deaths from coronavirus have been recorded at Wirral hospitals, NHS England has confirmed today.
It means the total number of people who have passed away in Wirral University Teaching Hospital after testing positive for the virus since the pandemic began continues to remain at 238.
Nationally, a further 11 people who tested positive for the virus have died, bringing the total number of confirmed reported deaths in hospitals in England to 29,077.
An NHS England statement read: "Patients were aged between 72 and 95 years old. All patients had known underlying health conditions.
"Their families have been informed."
