KNUTSFORD residents can get a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the town's fire station from the comfort of their own home on Saturday, July 11.
The station will be hosting a virtual open day from 10am, where residents can meet the team of on-call firefighters before taking an exclusive tour around a fire engine and what is stored on board.
There will also be a chip pan demonstration, a 999 fundraising challenge and information on how you can become an on-call firefighter with Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service.
The team will even look back at some of the incidents they have attended with their own animal rescue unit based at Knutsford.
To end the day residents will be asked to send over any questions that they may want answered by the team at the station.
