THREE week-long road closures on Winsford’s Grange Estate come into force today.
Nixon Drive, Abbotts Way and Basford Way will all be closed today and are expected to remain closed until next Friday, July 17.
Nixon Drive will be closed from the junction of Saunton Close to Basford Way, Abbotts Way will be closed from the junction of Saxon Crossway to Nixon Drive and Basford Way will be closed at the entry to the close.
The closures are to allow Cheshire West and Chester Council to carry out carriageway resurfacing and diversions around Crossway and Delamere Street will be put in place.
Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained.
Cheshire West and Chester Council’s public notice states: “A through route will not always be available and any vehicles not requiring access to properties on the length of road should use alternative routes.”
