CHURCH members are being invited to book a place for a presentation by a world-renowned astronomer and speaker.

Mobberley Methodist Church is hosting an online presentation by Professor David Block, on Thursday, July 23 at 7pm.

Reverend Scott Manning said: “Prior to the lockdown David planned to visit us here in Mobberley.

“Sadly due to the Covid-19 crisis that has been moved to an online Zoom presentation, and it is hoped to arrange a personal visit next year.

“David is an astronomer and highly sought-after inspirational speaker, who has devoted over 30 years to encouraging audiences around the globe to always look up and to never give up.

“There is limited space, as the main session will be a Zoom session with David, and so booking is essential.
