A NEW business is moving into the former Pochin's headquarters in Middlewich following the construction company's collapse last August.

Sandbach-based CLD Fencing Systems is expanding into a new 'logistics hub' at the Brooks Lane site, which will include 37,500 sq ft of warehousing.

Director Neville Wells told the Guardian that the move would mean new jobs for Middlewich, with the company looking to recruit new lorry drivers and warehouse staff.

He added: "This is a fantastic investment for the group and this additional facility will triple our storage capacity, enabling our stocks to increase to even greater level.

"This means that our customers are served faster and smarter than ever before."

It is the second time the company has expanded in 2020, after moving to new headquarters in Sandbach back in January.

The firm's manufacturing facility is also based in Sandbach.
