POLICE were seen carrying huge bags of drugs out of a house in Lymm after raiding a cannabis farm.
The grow was discovered after a 20-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy were arrested in a car in the Orford area at around 7pm on Tuesday, June 30.
Soon afterwards, officers searched an address on Whitesands Road and discovered the cannabis farm inside.
A 49-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of production of cannabis, and he remains in custody this afternoon.
The 20-year-old is also still in custody after he was held on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs and possession of drugs.
But the teenager has since been released under investigation, having been detained on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle.
Video footage captured at the scene showed two large bags filled with plants being carried out of the property in question.
Forensics teams clothed in white overalls could also be seen.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “Officers discovered the cannabis farm after arresting a 20-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy in a car on Tuesday, June 30, at around 7pm.
“A short time later, officers attended and conducted a search of an address on Whitesands Road in Lymm – where they discovered a cannabis farm.
“A 49-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of cultivation of cannabis and he remains in custody.
“The teenager, arrested on suspicion of theft of a car, has been released under investigation.
“The 20-year-old was arrested on suspicion of possession of a drug and being concerned in the supply of a drug.
“He remains in custody.”
