A POP UP event is sailing into Middlewich this weekend with lots of fun, clothes, crafts and homemade treats.

Four boats which would have been part of the floating market at the FAB Festival have decided to visit the town on Saturday, July 4 and Sunday, July 5 from 11am to 4pm each day.

The Pirate Boat, Hippie Boat, Fudge & Moor and All Things Spanish will be lined up on the canal by the play park near Newton Brewery's beer garden which backs onto the canal and reopens on Saturday.

Heidi Manning and Jakki Clarke invite children to come along dressed as pirates for lots of fun-filled activities.

Their pirate themed gift shop is packed with treasure and toys.The crew also designs and makes unique button badges which will be on sale.

Karleen Cross on Fudge & Moor will have a selection of home made fudge, chutneys, jams, hand painted jewellery and crafts and homemade dog treats.

Bob and Sandra Fell who run  All Things Spanish, will serve fresh coffee from a Barista machine, and milkshakkes.

 The couple also sell a selection of handmade stainless streel structures for the home and garde, plus a range of crystals and jewellery brought back from South America.

The Hippie Boat run by Jules and Pete Arman will have a selection of new stock clothes onboard for adults and children as wellas incense.

Jules said: "We should have been here a few weeks ago at the FAB Festival. We really miss all the interaction with the public, it is so much part of what we do. We are really looking forward to getting back on the towpath, chatting and engaging with people.

"We have been to India to get all our stuff. We are very passionate about engaging with our suppliers. Everything is Fairtrade. We will have lots of things you won't see anywhere else and a few one offs.

"Heidi and Jakki get into character and dress up. They really love children to come dressed up as pirates. They also serve ice creams, teas and coffees.

"Hopefully it will make it a really nice pleasant experience for everyone to come down and chat to us."
