A WINSFORD school is appealing for plants and flowers to brighten up their garden.

Hebden Green is keen to improve their outdoor environment for pupils to enjoy.

Faye Bye, post 16 teacher, said: "Unfortunately due to lockdown and the hot weather we have lost a lot of the bright, scented perennial plants we had planted in our planters and have not been able to purchase bedding plants as we would usually do at this time of year.

Northwich Guardian:

"Do you have any spare, unwanted plants that you’d be willing to donate to school? Maybe you’re planning to divide a well established perennial plant in your garden and could provide us with a piece that we can plant in one of our outdoor areas?"
