NEW life is being breathed into the Old Town House on Buttermarket Street, as fresh owners convert the former gig venue into Pasha Lounge.

The previous owners were forced to close the doors on the venue in April last year, following consistent financial concerns.

Now, Halil Ayaz is taking on the businesses and hopes to exploit a gap in Warrington’s hospitality market.

Ayaz said: “I’ve always wanted to [run] this bar. It’s a lovely building and I love the area of Warrington.

“Everything’s new – the kitchen, the design inside, the outside – so why not give us a try and see for yourself.”

Warrington Guardian:

Pasha Lounge will include an outside area for shisha, as well as a more traditional beer garden-bar area – all the while serving up a tapas menu.

It’s this ‘three-in-one’ approach which Ayaz hopes will bring customers in, with families being welcomed during the day, before the bar gains a new lease of life in the evening.

Customers will be able to enjoy the bar until 2.30am on weekends, with food being served until 11pm for those that fancy a midnight snack.

Warrington Guardian:

With the bar’s full launch coming on Tuesday, July 7, owners have put in place measures to help prevent the spread of Covid-19, by setting up ‘booths’ in the beer garden and placing a number of hand sanitising stations around the premises.

The opening night will see a special offer on, with customers able to enjoy a first drink and tapas on the house.
