EMERGENCY services were called to Brandlesholme Road this morning following a crash involving a van.
Fire, police and ambulance were called just before 8am after it is understood a van hit a stationary vehicle.
Keith Hadley, Crew Manager at Bury Fire Station, said: "Green watch Bury were called to a road traffic collision in Brandlesholme Road at 7.50 am. A van struck a stationary vehicle parked on the road, the driver and passenger of the van both suffered whiplash injuries and were checked by ambulance paramedics.
"We left the scene with police while the ambulance was still examining them.
"The fire service made the scene safe and were in attendance for 50 minutes."
Police helped direct traffic as part of the road was cordoned off.
Part of the road was cordoned off emergency vehicles dealt with the accident.
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said: "At around 7.35am on Friday 26 June 2020, police were called to reports of a collision on Brandlesholme Road, Bury.
"Officers attended."
