A MAN was taken to hospital after collapsing in the grounds of a Winsford school today.
Police were called to St Chad's CE Primary School on Gladstone Street this morning after the school told parents there had been 'a serious incident'.
The school reassured parents in a social media message that staff and children were all safe.

A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: "At around 10.30am today officers attended St Chad's CE Primary School having been notified of a man having collapsed in the grounds. On arrival they discovered that he had suffered a medical episode.
"He was assessed by paramedics and taken to Leighton Hospital in an ambulance."
A spokesman for North West Ambulance Service confirmed paramedics were called at 10.40am and took a casualty to the hospital.
St Chad's CE Primary School told parents in a Facebook post: "Some of you may have noticed an ambulance outside of school. Just to let everyone know a serious incident has happened but all children and staff are safe.

"It is not Covid-19 related. We will update you as soon as we can."
