One fire engine attended the scene
A BLOWN electrical transformer is believed to be the cause of a grass fire in Moston on Monday evening.
One fire engine from Sandbach attended the scene in Booth Lane at 6.38pm, by the Trent and Mersey Canal.
Crews used water to put out the fire, which affected 2m by 20m of grass.
